Water at the right temperature

Water temperature plays an essential role in tea preparation. Depending on the tea, hotter or cooler water can change the balance in the cup, particularly its sweetness, umami, bitterness or astringency. This thermometer makes it easy to check the water temperature and return more consistently to the brewing parameters that suit you.

Its probe provides a quick temperature reading, generally within 2 to 4 seconds, while the backlit LCD screen makes the result easy to read. It can also be used in the kitchen to measure the temperature of different foods and preparations.
